Tangy Chunky Crockpot Applesauce

The idea and inspiration behind this came from Slender Kitchens Apple Butter Recipe.
I was intrigued by the use of the apple cider vinegar and figured I would give it a shoot.

Ingredients
2.18 lb apples (or thereabouts) peeled, cored and diced
Juice of 1/2 lemon (about 1/8 cup)
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
6 packs splenda with fiber
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon allsipce

Combine all ingredients in crockpot, I used my small 2-3 quart one that only has on/off button.
Cook for about 4 hours or until apples break up upon stirring.

I really enjoyed this! By itself it has just enough "zing" in the flavor to make it different from traditional applesauces. I topped mine with some Cool Whip Free for just 1 Points+ per serving.

Apple sauce alone is 0 points+. Recipe yield approx 500 grams applesauce. 1 serving = 100 grams
