Pork Chops with Tangy Applesauce in the Crockpot & Saffron Rice

Pork Chops and Applesauce?
Oh yeah :)

Ingredients:
about 450 g Tangy Chunky Applesauce (or more, I ate some with cool whip from the batch!)
.96 lb center cut boneless pork chops ( my pack had 4 in them)
1/2 white onion sliced
crushed red peppers
salt and pepper

How to:

Spray your crockpot ( i used my small, one cooking speed only) lightly with pan spray. layer as follows:
1/2 of sliced onions
2 pork chops
sprinkle with salt, pepper, crushed red peppers
1/2 of applesauce
Repeat.

Cook for about 5 hours or until chops are cooked through.

each 4 oz chop is 4 Points+ each

Rice: Follow Directions on Packet :)
makes 2.5 servings @ 5 Points+ each

  1. This looks yummy and so easy. It will be perfect for my family. I can't wait to make the homemade applesauce. It will give me an excuse to use my new apple corer/peeler/slicer. :) Thanks for sharing.

  2. That looks delicious. I am absolutely a disaster though at the crock pot... I'm not sure I'd be successful with something even this easy!
